How it works
AC Biode’s alternating current battery system does away with an inverter and works through a biode – an intermediate electrode we created – to halve the voltage with the use of a switch.
Capacity (Ah) is increased by 15% and the more compact batteries are safer, with half the electric potential.
‘Biode’ is a word we created. It has both characteristics of an anode and a cathode.
With a single external switch, our AC battery produces alternating current from one battery – regardless of the number of electrodes involved.
